1. Understanding and Acknowledgement

1.1: The nature of the procedure will be explained to the patient as well as its risks and permanent nature.

1.2: The patient will receive written pre-operative instructions and will read and confirm that they are fully understood.

1.3: The patient will receive a written medical history form to complete at the time of reservation. The patient must inform the clinic in advance of their procedure of all medical conditions he or she is aware of, including but not exclusively:

• Allergy or hay fever
• Keloid scarring or difficulty healing
• Anaemia
• Kidney disease
• Asthma or wheezing
• HIV or AIDS
• Liver disease or jaundice
• Bleeding tendency or clotting problems
• Cancer, cyst, growth or tumour
• Diabetes
• Epilepsy or convulsions
• Excessive tiredness or fatigue
• Heart murmur or heart trouble
• Hepatitis
• High blood pressure
• Hormonal problems
• Thyroid trouble
• Skin rash or skin disease
• Psychiatric or emotional problems
• Tuberculosis
• Sexually transmitted disease
• Rheumatism or arthritis
• Problems during any previous surgical procedure
• Any other condition not listed above

1.4: hairtransplantclinic.pk shall not be held liable for any damage, complication, or adverse outcome occurring as a result of the patient's failure to disclose such details.

1.5: The patient will inform the clinic of all medications, supplements, and topical treatments taken or used in the last 30 days prior to the procedure.

1.6: The patient should avoid taking Aspirin, Ibuprofen, or any other blood-thinning medication for at least seven days prior to their procedure and must inform the clinic if they have done so.

1.7: The patient should avoid consuming alcohol for at least seven days prior to their treatment and must inform the clinic if they have done so.

1.8: The patient should avoid the use of Minoxidil or any other topical hair loss treatment for at least seven days prior to their treatment and must inform the clinic if they have done so.

1.9: Pre-operative and post-operative patient photographs will be taken and are used at the clinic's discretion in accordance with its legal and clinical documentation requirements. The patient may request that their identity be kept private.

1.10: hairtransplantclinic.pk reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice. The most current version will always be published on this website.

1.11: hairtransplantclinic.pk reserves the right to amend its pricing structure at any time and without prior notice.

1.12: The minimum age for any consultation or surgical procedure is 18 years. We do not carry out hair transplant procedures on anyone under this age.

2. Treatment

2.1: A hair transplant procedure is the choice of the patient and the patient alone. By confirming a booking, the patient agrees to any actions or conduct reasonably necessary to perform the treatment.

2.2: The patient understands the limitations of hair restoration surgery and the expected outcome of treatment prior to commencement.

2.3: The patient understands that a hair transplant procedure transplants existing hair from the donor area to the recipient area. This process does not have any control over the future, continued, and progressive loss of existing hair on the scalp.

2.4: Hair transplantation is a medical redistribution procedure. It moves the patient's own natural hair from one area of the scalp to another. It does not create any new hair, nor does it stop the balding process. The results of a hair transplant depend on the ratio between the demand — the size of the balding area — and the supply — the size and density of the donor area — as well as the patient's natural healing ability.

2.5: When undertaking a hair transplant at hairtransplantclinic.pk, the patient is paying for the expertise and experience of our surgical team in performing the procedure. The patient is not paying for a specific result. All photographic examples shown during consultations or in any marketing material are for illustration purposes only. The patient fully understands that no guarantee can be given as to the exact outcome of this or any other medical procedure.

2.6: It is not possible to implant hair grafts too closely together, as adequate spacing must be allowed for healing and graft survival. The patient may elect to undergo further hair transplant sessions at a later stage to increase density or cover a larger area, providing the surgeon deems this appropriate for the patient's individual case.

2.7: The patient understands that there may be some discomfort associated with the treatment. Other common and temporary side effects may include slight bleeding, redness, numbness, swelling, and temporary shedding of transplanted hair in the weeks following the procedure. These effects typically resolve on their own.

2.8: The patient understands that hair restoration procedures may result in some degree of detectable scarring. The clinic will carry out the procedure with the aim of minimising any potential scarring, whether the procedure performed is FUE or FUT.

2.9: The patient understands that over the long term, transplanted hair tends to mirror the behaviour of the hair in the donor region. Should the donor hair become thinner over the patient's lifetime, the transplanted hair may also become thinner over time.

2.10: For best results, the patient must comply fully with all written and verbally given aftercare instructions provided by the clinic. These may include recommended medical treatments to slow further hair loss, attendance at suture removal appointments, and all post-operative review visits.

2.11: hairtransplantclinic.pk will not be held liable for any associated costs connected with aftercare or follow-up treatment required to address any possible complications. This includes travel costs, accommodation costs, and any economic costs to the patient relating to time taken off work or loss of potential earnings.

2.12: hairtransplantclinic.pk can provide a guideline as to how long any given procedure is expected to take. Due to the number of grafts, technique used, and other surgical variables, the actual procedure may be shorter or longer than the estimated duration.

2.13: hairtransplantclinic.pk reserves the right to cancel the procedure in the interest of patient safety in any case where the patient is deemed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol on the day of surgery. In such an event, the non-refundable deposit will be retained as a cancellation charge.

2.14: The non-refundable deposit will be retained as a cancellation charge if it becomes evident that the patient has failed to disclose known medical conditions or other contra-indications to treatment prior to their procedure, where such failure results in the cancellation of the procedure in the interest of patient safety.

2.15: If a procedure is cancelled on the day of surgery on medical grounds, the clinic will advise the patient on the steps needed and will attempt to reschedule the procedure once. If the patient does not wish to reschedule, or cannot reschedule for medical reasons, the clinic will retain full payment for the procedure.

3. Payments

3.1: The patient will be quoted a fee during a personal consultation or following a photo analysis. hairtransplantclinic.pk will complete the agreed work for that fee.

3.2: A non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure the patient's chosen procedure date. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of consultation. Until a deposit is received and cleared, the patient's desired procedure date remains available for other patients to book.

3.3: The remaining balance is due in full at least one week prior to the scheduled procedure date.

3.4: Any additional grafts agreed upon on the day of surgery, beyond the original treatment plan, must be quoted, confirmed, and paid for before the procedure continues.

3.5: Bank transfers must be initiated well in advance to ensure all funds have cleared before the procedure date.

3.6: We accept payment by bank transfer, Visa, and MasterCard. Card payments must be accompanied by valid photographic ID. We do not accept cheques.

3.7: If paying by card on the day of the procedure, the patient is advised to inform their bank in advance to avoid blocked transactions. Any unresolved payment issues on the day may result in cancellation of the surgery and retention of the deposit.

3.8: Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price quoted at the time of the patient's written booking confirmation is the price applicable to their procedure.

4. Appointments and Cancellations

4.1: The non-refundable booking deposit will be charged to secure the patient's surgery date. Should the patient cancel after the deposit has been placed, or fail to arrive for their procedure, the deposit will be retained as a cancellation charge.

4.2: We recommend that all patients allow themselves a minimum of 14 days after their consultation to consider all aspects of the procedure before confirming their booking. This cooling-off period allows adequate time to review the procedure, risks, and expected outcomes before making a final decision.

4.3: Cancellations due to genuine medical emergency or sudden illness will be assessed individually. In such cases, hairtransplantclinic.pk will always make every effort to be as flexible as possible and will endeavour to reschedule the procedure at an alternative date at no additional charge, subject to availability.

4.4: In all other cases of patient-initiated cancellation, the following charges apply after the cooling-off period:

• More than 30 days notice: booking deposit retained only
• 29 to 21 days notice: booking deposit plus cancellation fee
• 20 to 14 days notice: booking deposit plus higher cancellation fee
• 13 to 7 days notice: booking deposit plus significant cancellation fee
• Less than 7 days notice or no-show: full amount paid, no refund

4.5: hairtransplantclinic.pk will endeavour to ensure that the patient's procedure runs to schedule. However, for reasons beyond our control, it may occasionally be necessary to cancel or postpone a procedure at short notice. In this unlikely event, every effort will be made to contact the patient in advance and arrange an alternative date. We do not offer financial compensation for clinic-initiated cancellations.

4.6: hairtransplantclinic.pk reserves the right to amend a booked surgery date where this is necessary in the interest of patient safety or due to clinical circumstances. Such changes are uncommon. Where a surgery date is amended by the clinic, all deposit and balance payments will be transferred to the next available date.

4.7: hairtransplantclinic.pk will not be liable for any costs incurred by the patient as a result of any scheduling change, including travel costs, hotel or accommodation costs, or any financial loss connected to time taken off work.

5. Aftercare

5.1: Following the procedure, the patient will receive full written aftercare instructions. It is the patient's responsibility to read, understand, and follow these instructions to give the best possible chance of a successful outcome.

5.2: The initial aftercare period includes post-operative review appointments up to 12 months following surgery. These appointments are included as part of the patient's procedure package.

5.3: Any further treatment recommended beyond the initial aftercare period will be separately quoted and charged.

5.4: If the patient fails to follow pre-operative or post-operative instructions provided by the clinic, misses scheduled review appointments, or if results are affected by changes in the patient's lifestyle, general health, new medication, or the natural ageing process, hairtransplantclinic.pk cannot commit to providing further corrective surgery at reduced or discounted rates.

5.5: If the surgeon determines that the results of the hair transplant are within clinically acceptable limits, any further surgery requested by the patient will incur the full procedure fee. If, however, the surgeon agrees that the surgical outcome did not meet expected standards through no fault of the patient, hairtransplantclinic.pk will assess the circumstances on an individual basis and determine whether a contribution toward the cost of further surgery is appropriate. The surgeon's decision in such cases is final.

5.6: The patient acknowledges that hair transplant results take a minimum of 12 to 18 months to fully develop. Hair loss is a progressive condition and some native hair may continue to thin during this period. A final assessment of results cannot be made before this time has elapsed.

6. Photography

6.1: Pre-operative and post-operative photographs are taken of all patients as part of the clinical documentation process. These photographs form part of the patient's official medical record.

6.2: With the patient's separate and explicit consent, before-and-after photographs may be used by hairtransplantclinic.pk in marketing materials, on the website, and on social media channels for the purpose of illustrating treatment outcomes.

6.3: The patient may request that their identity be kept private at any time. This request will be honoured without any impact on the patient's treatment or care.

7. Confidentiality

7.1: hairtransplantclinic.pk and the patient agree that all matters relating to the patient's treatment will remain confidential, except where disclosure is required to relevant members of the clinical team for the purpose of providing appropriate care.

7.2: The patient gives consent for personal and medical information to be shared between the clinic's surgeons, doctors, nurses, and other staff directly involved in their treatment.

7.3: Your medical records are held securely and in accordance with applicable data protection laws in Pakistan. You have the right to request access to your records at any time by contacting the clinic in writing.

7.4: If you have a complaint regarding any aspect of your treatment, we ask that you raise it with your surgeon or patient coordinator in the first instance, and follow our internal complaints procedure before making any public statement about the clinic or its staff. Complaints made externally before our internal process has been completed may be subject to legal review.

10. Governing Law

10.1: These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from the use of this website or from any procedure carried out at hairtransplantclinic.pk shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pakistan.

10.2: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
